Photos. Light.
Photography. Literature.
There must be something in common with photography and literature that they both conjure the idea of light. Indeed, photos is the Greek word for "light". Using light, it graphs down a moment. And light is the ultimate metaphor of the Enlightenment, or Les Lumières as the French call it. Through words, writers created a path of light through the darkest of ages.
A picture paints a thousand words, as a popular song says, but there are emotions that cannot be conveyed by a photograph and are best expressed by words. That's why photography and literature go hand in hand.
Here is my attempt to reconcile my two passions: writing and taking pictures. I've far neglected the former and I'm starting up on the latter. And I want to explore. Allow me to take you along in the adventure.
